In a six-month randomised, double-blind trial of over 140 patients, a greater proportion of those taking Genacol AminoLock® Collagen reported a notable reduction in joint pain than those on placebo (Bruyère et al., 2012). Two further studies examined knee osteoarthritis, joint function and cartilage alongside exercise.
